My name is Margaree King Mitchell and I love to create stories that entertain and inspire children, teens, and adults.
My mission is to tell diverse stories that haven’t been told and in the process inspire people to be the best they can be.
My children’s books are set in history and focus on ordinary people who achieve extraordinary things for the time period in which they lived.
My young adult books take place in the present and focus on contemporary issues that teens face.
My plays, screenplays and novels explore slices of life that are not usually talked about so that thought provoking discussion can occur.
