MacEwen Patterson

Mr. Patterson earned his Bachelor’s Degree in DJing (Media Studies) and Writing from Prescott College in Northern Arizona where he also studied Outdoor Leadership. He is a published author who began as an engineer, put in years as a high-end business consultant where he took part in building technology and communications teams for Amgen, Pacificare, and Sony Imageworks, all while honing his craft as a storyteller who effectively combines fine and commercial arts.

MacEwen contributes his time and expertise to the non-profit organizations: Keep the Arts in Public Schools reaching hundreds of thousands of arts education advocates; U+, an international organization and online platform for young people (25 and under) to post, market, and sell their creative expressions together with programs that offer mentorship and expertise; and, Americans for the Arts in Washington D.C. (the largest non-profit Arts Advocacy organization in the US) developing national awareness and advocacy initiatives that change the course of education in our country and the world.
