Though it took a while to get a foot in the door, I eventually found a way by starting out as a stagehand in live productions in 2012. Before, during, and since those years, I've continually networked and worked my way to learning all I can in every aspect of the industry. From live shows I went into film and then television, primarily as a PA while writing every chance I get on my own time in the hopes of creating something great. I've been lucky enough to work with countless great artists between the varying forms of entertainment, from Justin Timberlake and Carrie Underwood to Elton John and Bruno Mars. I've been able to befriend incredible talents in the industry in the last few years, as well. Acting coaches, producers, actors, artists.
Since my start, I have gone back to school to obtain a BA in Digital Film Production and MA in English Creative Writing - Screenwriting.
I'm currently working on moving a few scripts for both film and television, some of which are being discussed with A-list agents. At the same time, I've been keeping busy as a freelance video editor, which is seeming to take over as my primary film occupation since first working with Mario Van Peebles on his new independent thriller "IF", set to be released in 2017.
As a hopeful up-and-comer, I recognize just how lucky I've been thus far and can't wait to see what all is in store and am grateful for every step of my journey.

America's Funniest Home Videos

Miscellaneous Crew "America's Funniest Home Videos" was inspired by a series of successful TV specials, where home viewers were invited to send in videotapes of their "funniest" moments. In "AFHV," host Saget provided commentary to the home videos which often showed wedding and sports bloopers, children and pets either being themselves or getting into trouble, furniture or other objects giving way (usually contributing to someone's fall) and "comical" reactions to getting inadvertently hit (usually in the groin). Sometimes, certain videos were grouped into themes, such as Christmas or a summer vacation, or had sentimental value to them, such as a marriage proposal; other times, videos were set to classic rock tunes. The top three videos of the week as selected by the producers were eligible for each week's $10,000 top prize; the audience would electronically vote for their one favorite video. Weekly winners got to compete in a later special for a $100,000 top prize. Written by Brian Rathjen <briguy_52732@yahoo.com>
