About Matteo

Matteo Cucchiara, has been involved in the financial world for over 30 years as a resident of Weston, Florida. He has been featured in, and has written numerous articles for magazines and sports journals. He has been a producer for two lower budget movies. Discovering his talent for writing later in life, Matteo quickly began to catch up. He is the author of the newly published best seller "Defying the Mob: Secrets Revealed", based upon the true story of former FBI #3, Susan Weeks. He is the author of the novel “Earthkill" and recently finished a screenplay of the same name. He is the author of a children’s short story, "Children of the Magical Forest," and is presently working on the novel and screenplay for a thriller called "Channel". He wrote the screenplay “Vision”, and also has recently completed the novel based upon the same true story. He also wrote the screenplay for the horror film "The Flatwoods Monster" & is working on musical "The Tenth Symphony". Both movies are in development, with Matt as producer. Matt was a former analyst for Doubleday Publishing Company and is a member of "The International Who’s Who of Poetry". He speaks five languages. He received both a BA and a BS from Fordham University and attended graduate school at New York University with a degree in Geology. Matt was an All-American track star, a champion wrestler, an international champion long distance runner, a champion cyclist who rode the Tour de France course, and a nationally ranked tri-athlete. On January 26, 2013, Matteo was inducted to Fordham University's Athletic Hall of Fame, where he joins athletes such as Vince Lombardi, and on April 27, 2013 he was inducted to the Penn Relays' "Wall of Fame" with 3 teammates on the record setting championship of America team which will join just 89 others on the famous wall of the largest (22,000 participants/year) and longest running (since 1894) relay championships in the world.
