I'm an independent filmmaker in the city of Toronto. I've worked on feature films, shorts, television and commercial work. I have a lover of tight editing, moody lighting and methodical shooting.
Currently, I'm interested in doing freelance work as an editor and colourist. I'm highly skilled at the Adobe suites as well as Davinci Resolve having done post work on a number of narrative projects. Shooting is also a passion of mine and I have my own professional film equipment for small scale projects.
Having worked for the government in anti-fraud, I am accustomed to conducting myself in a professional manner. Productions that I run are carefully pre-planned and organized. I tackle post-production tasks such as editing and colouring meticulously ensuring that what the viewer sees is clean, beautiful and engaging. I very much enjoy doing every role in film and video production (with the exception of boom mic operator. I'll pass on those jobs!).
I began my film career writing feature films then bridged into on set work as an art director and production designer. Since I started, I've become a full on DIY filmmaker having done nearly all critical roles on and off set from producing to image grading.
I'm always looking for a new, interesting project as all good artists should.
Unique traits: I have government secret clearance. I have previously worked in anti-fraud, academic research and ESL teaching. I lived in Taiwan for five years.
