Oscar Freeman wants to live in a world where smartphones become dumb at sunset and families and friends have to actually spend time talking and interacting with each other.
As a license CPA and sought-after senior level finance executive, he has worked at several Fortunate 500 Companies including Deutsche Post DHL Group where he most recently led the finance and controlling project office of DHL Express US’ $3.6B re-structuring program. After turning down a CFO position in Ireland, he enrolled in the UCLA Extension Writing Program where he completed both the Feature and the Television writing programs. One of several professor who recognize his writing talent recommended him to Atmosphere Entertainment MM where he worked as an intern providing script coverage where he was later recognize for his contributions to the creative team.
When he’s not writing or reading scripts you can find him tutoring his next-door neighbor’s six year old son on the nuance of hitting a baseball and the how to of track-down fly balls.
Currently, he’s shopping his gritty pilot, “Goons Down 4 Life,” based on his experience of managing Rappers in the cutthroat music business and navigating Atlanta’s made-up gangster subculture.
