Rayna White is an NYC writer with Jersey roots. She graduated from University of Hartford and Hofstra University School of Law -- when it was still called that. Rayna has honed her writing skills under the guidance of Jen Grisanti, Corey Mandell, and the teachers of the Jacob Kreuger Write Your Screenplay program. Rayna found her voice through writing characters that feel that have drawn the short straw in the lottery of life. Her stories center around characters who are desperate for connection, desperate for family, and desperate to be seen and heard. She’s also written several short stories which have been published in journals including Liar’s League NYC, The Other Stories and elsewhere. She was also nominated for the coveted Pushcart Prize for her story “Molly” which can be found in Issue #14 of Newtown Literary.
