I spent most of my life as a professional fighter and even fought in the UFC while competing on the 9th season of The Ultimate Fighter, which aired on Spike TV for 12 weeks. After a brain aneurysm sent my MMA career in the dump, I decided to start writing and earned my MFA in creative writing from Northern Arizona University. Since then, I have published in numerous literary journals, and various other print and online outlets including , and many others. I now oscillate back and forth between writing scripts and fiction. My action/adventure script "Sandstorm" was a semi finalist in the Marquee Lights Competition and my memoir was a finalist for the "True stories for film" competition. I am now filming a feature length documentary on the lower level of Mixed Martial Arts called "Bottom Feeders" and putting the finishing touches on a TV sitcom script called Knee Deep.
