Ward G. Smith is an Actor, Stand Up Comedian and Voice-Over Artist, most recently seen in Nashville, Let's Stay Together, Burn Notice, Army Wives and soon to seen on the new CBS summer hit ZOO. He has been working steadily for the past 30 years starting with USO shows while in the US ARMY. The many aspects of his talents have been utilized in phases over that time. In 1985, a chance audition in NYC saw him moving there, were he studied acting at the HB Studios in NYC with Uta Hagen and William Hickey. Scoring ZERO work as an actor, it was stand-up that paid the rent and put food in his gut. The massive national touring in the 80's saw him share the stage with the likes of David Spade, Adam Sandler, Pat Paulson, Ron White, Larry the Cable Guy, and Steve McGrew to name a fraction of the well-known acts he's appeared with. Think of it this way: Any person who IS a big name, Ward has either picked them up from the airport, or picked them up off the floor. 25 Years Nationally Touring Stand-up Comedian Booked by- Sandi Diperna, Rick Messina, Dennis Ross, Joey Novich, Tom Soble and John Yoder, Punclines, Improvs, Funny Bones, Laff Stops Comedy Zones, Coconuts, and Colleges Appeared and/or toured with: Dennis Miller, Adam Sandler, David Spade, Darrel Hammond, Pat Paulson, Judy Tenuta, Ron White, Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Hicks, Richard Jeni, Bob Nelson, Frankie Bastille, Brian Regan, etc. and still continues to perform.
