Kendrick Simmons (Kenny)

I'm Kendrick Simmons (Kenny) from Las Vegas but I have been living in Hawaii for 10 years now. I am 36 years old and counting but I still have my inner child. I am a BIG GUY. I have a passion for production work. I can do a little of everything so I am am well rounded. I know that a team is the most important aspect of successful production work. I am looking for that team to help me take my projects to the next level and vis-versa.

I have a AA in Television Production and jumped right into my passion project upon graduation "The Tattoo Club Curse of the Dragon" I started out as a 10 minute classroom project and now has the potential to become a multi-media franchise. I love what I do and couldn't see myself doing anything else with my life.

I know that making a movie is not just about me but the 1000's of people that help make it happen, the 1000's of jobs that is created during the process, the amazing talents that have a chance to be displayed and allows others to not get caught up in the everyday monotony of life. There is a Director out there washing dishes or waiting tables. A writer out there trying to perfect his/her craft but working security or in a retail store. I think that is sad. I do what I do for people like that to have a platform to vent.

I started my company and it is still growing one job at a time and one piece of equipment at a time. I have no doubt that one day capital and equipment will not be a problem. For now, I grind and continue to be creative. I get rejected and bounce back. I dodge obstacles and find strength to run through them. I fight everyday no matter what to pursue my dream until it happens and then on to the next. My passion is set up perfectly to create a win win situation with everyone that I work with and that is how it should be.
