Tiffany Renee Aldridge, A 30 something yr old Lefty Rhythm guitarist from Los Angeles CA. Heard her first Metal Song ever while spending the weekend with her grandfather. Not really wanting to sit in the living room n watch TV with her grandfather n older sister she was exploring the house when her uncle came over to small talk with her. He played drums and let her try to play. When she stopped banging away He handed her a tape. "Listen to this". It was Metallica's ...And Justice for All. He gave her a pair of headphones showed her to the tape deck. Popped it in. At the very beginning of the second side the first song she heard was Shortest Straw. And was convinced she needed to listen to nothing else. And has been listening to it ever since. Weekend ended. They went home. Back to growing up in rough inner city neighborhood of Compton. Back to Pretending to fit in up until 7th grade. First day of jr. High showed up to school wearing a Metallica Ride the Lightning shirt and has been made fun of since. Got first guitar a age 7. A beat up acoustic with 3 strings on it from her aunt one day while visiting. Been playing ever since. Dad bought her first new guitar at age 9. Spanish classical nylon string. Frederick Noad came on TV every Sunday morning on channel 56 KDOC back then. He was her teacher. On her 12th B-Day Dad bought first brand new electric guitar. A lefty fender squire strat (yea I know) but it was a first. And been playing it since. ( Not the strat).
Life has many challenges. Ups n Downs. Failures n Success. Pain and mistakes. FINAL is about facing them all. And dealing with what comes yr way. And Not Letting anyones opinions determine who you are. Or dictate what you do n say. FINAL Respects Most walks of Life. Knowing At the end of yr darkest day what matters most is not opinions of others. But seeing value in yourself. And doing something with it.
