My father was a traveling preacher so I never knew a place I could call my hometown nor did I hang on to any of my childhood friends. As unfortunate as that sounds, it also meant that I was forced to meet new people and quickly acclimate to new cultures on a regular basis. I had no choice but to discover and learn about my environment and those experiences come in handy with my screenwriting. When I craft my stories, I think back to the many places I’ve lived and the people I’ve met and draw from those memories.
