I'm Angela C. Gunn, an optioned screenwriter and former script coordinator for Warner Bros. and NBCUniversal. I'm also a freelance copywriter, working remotely from Savannah, GA.
I may have proofread a script for you recently, or written copy for your website. You might have read my daily LinkedIn content. Or you discovered me because you love everything "Shameless."
Whichever way, I'm glad you're here.
I started proofreading and copyediting for professional screenwriters in 2015. During the pandemic, I decided I wanted to share the skills I learned in Hollywood with everyone.
Currently, I share my screenwriting knowledge on LinkedIn.
I also provide proofreading and copyediting services for screenwriters. If you're prepping scripts for competitions, fellowships, producers, agents, or managers, I can help get them A-list ready: .
As much as I love to help screenwriters with proofreading and editing, I also love to write myself.
Since 2011, I've been working as a freelance copywriter.
So far my work has focused on scriptwriting for businesses in the Middle East. But more recently, I've been writing website and email copy for companies in the beauty industry.
My favorite part of being a writer and editor is turning big ideas into compelling writing that hooks readers.
When I'm not doing that, you can find me on Duolingo, learning Scottish Gaelic and Spanish, or practicing yoga.
Got a question about screenwriting or need some help with copy for scripts or your website?
