Anthony Rainone

Anthony Rainone is a New York based screenwriter. With a degree in English Literature and a minor in Natural Science, Anthony also graduated from a three-month NYPD training academy program. Starting out as a crime and thriller short story writer with publications online and in print, Anthony answered his love for film and television, and his desire to be a screenwriter, by honing his craft at the UCLA Professional Screenwriting Program. Long drawn to both the anti-hero and those desperate to right themselves after a life calamity, Anthony writes character driven thrillers and science-fiction about these darker souls against the backdrop of challenging and sometimes hostile worlds. Anthony placed as a Nicholl Semi-finalist, and a Final Draft Big Break Top 5 Finalist. When not writing, reading scripts or watching film and television, Anthony can be found hanging with his rescue dogs.
