About Benjamin

Ben Russell was born in Denver, Colorado before moving to Kansas, North Dakota, and Washington. He resides in Los Angeles as an actor, hustling his days away and enjoying life like there is no tomorrow. He started his acting career as a young kid in Bismark, North Dakota doing local theater and commercials. While living in Washington, he was a part of the Heiner Theatre Group where he acted, directed, and wrote plays. After encouragement from his acting coach, Ben decided to take his career seriously and move to Los Angeles. There, he started studying Meisner Technique at Studio 4 as well as Improvisations, Scene Study, and On-Camera Technique. In his spare time, he studied other great acting teachers like Stella Adler and Lee Strasberg.

Writer Coming of Age is the journey of several groups of teenagers as they live with sex, love, drugs, crime, and mental illness in Barclay, a town in the Pacific Northwest.
