Bethany Watson is an actor, writer, and producer originally from Wisconsin. (Yes, she’s too friendly to strangers and cheese is incredibly important to her.) She’s best known for her time as co-host on the nationally syndicated Elvis Duran and the Morning Show. Bethany earned her degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Minnesota and trained at the famous Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City. Bethany co-produced and stars as Jess in “Labeled” and co-produced its spin-off, “Anya Marina: Indie-pendent Woman,” both of which show a comedic side of the music industry. She starred in “Pet Peeved,” the web series from Writers Guild Award winner Daryn Strauss about a conflict mediator who hates people and works on behalf of their pets instead. She also co-produced, co-wrote, and stars in “Lonely Hearts,” a Hitchcockian short. Her weekly podcast “An Acquired Taste,” (Audioboom) focuses on weird, creepy topics as well as closer-to-home lifestyle issues. Bethany is also a voice-over artist who has been the live Voice of God at New York’s Global Citizen Festival, Rihanna’s Diamond Ball, the Grammy’s tribute to Elton John, and more. Bethany is passionate about creating and performing work that both entertains and creates a space for viewers to feel that they’re not alone in their eccentricities and struggles. Bethany currently resides in Manhattan with her two kittens, nine plants, and her Soda Stream.
