About Brian

Emmy Nominee and award winning director Brian Thomas has worked in all avenues of the biz over the past 25 years. Originally from Michigan, Brian moved to NYC in 1993 to pursue a commercial dance career. It didn't take him long to land his dream job the 1995 MTV music awards dancing beside MICHAEL JACKSON, launching his career in the arts eventually leading to filmmaking & photography.

Brian recently had his first feature documentary ”Amy's Victory Dance" officially selected to be apart of the ReelAbilities Film Festival. His body of work also features Desmond Richardson in a short dance film, Various Music Videos winning the GLAM award 2013, Associate Director for Cirque du Soleil and Obotacario commercial in Brazil.

He started his own film/photo production company called SpinKick Pictures in New York City 2017 in honor of his grandma's passing. He quotes "Capturing a moment of truth is so worth the journey".
