Charles is the Digital Director at Acart Communications. He has twenty-five years of experience creating marketing-communications innovations in Ottawa, Toronto, and the US: Charles has run media production subsidiaries of Rogers Communications and Young & Rubicam Advertising in Toronto (working with clients such as Ford, Sears, AT&T, and Colgate-Palmolive); he's worked with digital startups here in Ottawa, back in Toronto, and out in San Francisco. He has overseen marketing initiatives for entertainment companies such as CBC/ABC/BBC, CTV, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and the Washington Ballet.
Charles moved to Ottawa about ten years ago to get closer to the public sector and Ottawa's entrepreneurial community. Since arriving, he has worked with studios like Fuel Industries and later ran his own digital boutique agency in Hintonburg for five years. In his role at Acart, Charles works with virtually all of the agency's clients as a results-focused conduit to emerging media and trends.
