About Chris

Chris Pluchar majored in film producing at Columbia College Chicago. Shortly thereafter, his career in production began with work on BRIDESMAIDS (Universal), THIS IS 40 (Universal), THE WOLVERINE (Fox), and THE CLIENT LIST (Sony).

These experiences along with his time spent in Americorps have helped him to become a more rounded producer, capable of handling any challenge. Over the last few years, Chris has produced everything from music videos to web videos (MACY'S) to Sony promos (THE INTERVIEW, 22 JUMP STREET, THE WEDDING RINGER) to independent feature films. He views film as a medium not only for entertainment, but also for promoting social consciousness and creating change.
