About Clifton

Clifton Radford is a cinematographer based in Cincinnati, OH. He began his career as a production assistant in Indianapolis working primarily on TV commercials. Eventually working his way up through the camera and electrical departments in the Chicago, Indianapolis, Louisville and Cincinnati markets, Clifton worked mostly on commercials and feature films, working with such accomplished cinematographers as Barry Markowitz, ASC, Roberto Schaefer, ASC, Ed Lachman, ASC, Eric Steelberg, ASC, Greig Frasier, ASC, among many others. In 2010, Clifton shot his first feature film, BITE MARKS, a low budget horror/comedy with a supporting role from 80's icon Stephen Geoffreys. BITE MARKS played at a number of national and international festivals and was distributed by Breaking Glass Pictures. In 2012, Clifton was accepted into the cinematography program at the prestigious American Film Institute. Opting out of attendance to stay near family, Clifton then joined IATSE Local 209 and continued to work on a number of major motion pictures and commercials while building a reel as a cinematographer. Clifton primarily shoots narrative cinema as well as mini docs, branding films, music videos, web series, broadcast and live events.
