Tabitha "Tabi" Abney is a Costume Designer and Wardrobe Supervisor/Stylist. She received her education at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. She moved to Columbus, OH, in 2010 for a fresh start in a new place.
Fashion is always at the heart of what she does, and her love for it has taken her on an incredible journey from Independent Fashion Designer to working behind the scenes with other fashion companies. While working with several Columbus based independent film-makers, she discovered a love for costume design and a passion for bringing characters to life through clothing. Her aptitude for quick thinking on the spot and problem solving has earned her the nickname "Miracle Worker" on any set where she's worked. Her motto for life is: "We'll Make It Work." She resides in Groveport, OH with her partner Mark and youngest son, Daniel.
Unique traits: I love taking characters from off the script page and giving them life through their wardrobe. I'm obsessed with researching fabrics, garment history and the progress of fashion as we know it. I like to work quickly alone or with a team of creatives.
