About David

David Jaure was born on March 30, 1976 in the small town of Mendoza, Argentina. As a young child, his father introduced him and his brother to the game of golf. With many years of sacrifice and practice, David became the best Junior Golfer in Mendoza. His father's love for the game and for his sons' dreams were the fuel behind what prompted him to move the family to the United States. His father and mother sold their house, renounced their jobs, bid farewell to their friends and family for the future and dream of their two sons.

David's family arrived to the United States in 1986 at the young age of 10. His family had only one mission: playing golf. His dream became a reality at the age of 14, when he became one of the best Junior Golfers in the United States. When David turned 16, he was already being scouted by some of the most prestigious colleges.

In 1993 he attended Florida International University on a full golf scholarship. During his years of playing golf at the highest standards of university levels, he signed up for an acting class and was immediately hypnotized by this wonderful art. He continued to pursue both theater and golf. After graduating from college with a theater degree, David became a professional golfer and played for two years in the Tours circuits in Florida. After the second year of playing professionally, he sensed the love for the game was slipping away.

He began understanding how movies are made and was touched by the way a single film has the ability to provoke so many different emotions. It is deeper in emotion than any art he ever encountered, he was immediately captivated by the art of filmmaking.

After many years of studying and learning the craft, David realized he had an immense love for it. Many people live their lives not knowing what their passion is. He lived his life the same way, finally finding his passion and himself in filmmaking; in the ability to bring images to life and change the way people feel and think.

David Jaure ambitious hope and love for making movies can be shared with the world. He hopes his vision and work will reach a significant number of people and change their lives in a positive way.
