The principal actors are all Lovett students, and several students participated on set as assistants to the production. The film gives voice to the teenage men and women who were present in Atlanta during the summer of 1864: townspeople, soldiers and slaves. It is our hope this treatment will inspire young viewers to see this history through the eyes of these teenage characters and possibly begin to realize history is always being written, and that they too are historical figures.
