Donato Rossi

A southern Italian independent filmmaker, born and raised in Puglia followed by 15 year spent in Tuscany (Sienna) to work and study Arts, Cinema and Theater at the University of Sienna. In 2014 I started a new adventure in the US, attending an MFA program in film at the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University (New York).

Professionally, I have a decade of experience in the TV and Web-Tv industry, as a video editor, camera operator and videographer. I've also worked on set for several short films and documentary projects, both in Italy and the US.

In my most recent work, I'm focusing my attention in developing new ways to organize the narrative storyline, paying particular attention to the construction of characters, trying to express the human condition in Western contemporary society.
