DC Music is operated through DB Production and Design by its Founder Gaelen Meier.

The idea of having one owner and a revolving door on talent and positions within one company has worked very well for DB Production and for Meier. Growing up on the sets of film and theater productions with a father in the Broadway Sound Scene (Evita, Hello Dolly, Le Miz etc) and then later in the Film Industry, (working sound and pyro on films such as "Indiana Jones" "Back to the Future" "Die Hard" "Tucker" etc.)

Meier got to know all the ins and outs of the theater and film making business and arts, and applies the years of learning from the best school on earth, the set, into every aspect of his creativity his outgoing and bold statements and styles in the Film/TV Scoring businesses as well as sound design/production.

Unique traits: I have the unique privilege of spending time since the age of 3 through the present day in social settings that others have not, and utilizing those experiences and contacts to the benefit of my clients and co-workers. I base everything I write and my approach to composition off of and from a classical point of view, even rock and hip hop. And no I do not think that the learning process is EVER done.
