About Evan

Evan B. Peters is an American filmmaker. He started acting on the stage when he was ten in Arizona community theatre, continuing to act into his teenage years while attending the Youth Performing Arts High School in Louisville, KY. He took what he learned from his years being directed in theatre and studying the greats of cinema, to write, produce, direct, shoot and edit his first feature film, Wheelchair Defender - a groundbreaking mockumentary about video gamers with a cast of 23 - when he was 16.

Peters' second project, The Poster, a short film modeled after Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone, won the Best Science Fiction Short Film Award for the USA at the 2008 New York International Film and Video Festival in LA. Over the next 14 years, Peters filmed and edited 2 feature films and directed multiple music videos, commercials and short films. His last short film, The Server, was a finalist at the 2020 Venice Film Festival and an official selection of the 2020 Hollywood Verge Film Awards.
