Peter Daniels

Peter Daniels is a graduate of Kootenay School of Art with a Commercial Art Certificate,A Fine Art Certificate and a Fine Art Diploma. He is also a graduate of Notre Dame University Of Nelson B.C.Campus with a B.F.A. Peter majored in graphics,ceramics and drama,completing 1974.
Peter taught art with three summer O.F.Y. Grants from Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau, next he was the Art Master at St.Micheal's University School in Victoria B.C. He later taught Art Therapy for the Solicitor General's Office at Matsqui Institution in Abbotsford B.C.
Peter opened his business formally in 1985, he had run his studio part-time from 1974, but found his way into a porcelain studio with car kilns,potter's wheels,dough mixers and glazing room at that time. He produced over 70000 items in porcelain/stoneware and sold them world wide. In 1985, his porcelain was selected by the Dept. of External Affairs for their Permanent Collection in Ottawa. In 1999, Peter was nominated for the Bronfman Award in Canada by the Delta Arts Council.
Peter started watercolor/acrylic painting along the way and was exhibited in New York City in 1996 at the Agora Gallery, and had an excellent review in the Manhattan Arts.
Publishing Art was a huge step for Peter in Limited Editions,Art Cards and Giclees.Peter Daniels was both self published and Published by Hamblton Agencies in Vancouver B.C. He traveled throughout North America representing most of the Large Art Publishing Houses, with their artists and his art, from 1987-2004.
Drama being a part of Peter's training brought him towards Feature Film and T.V. series in Vancouver B.C. part-time in1996. Peter refreshed his training in drama in Gastown-Vancouver B.C. taking training in performing for commercials and film.He has performed in numerous series and at least a hundred films with many Hollywood Principal Actors,,performing; stand-in,stunt,back ground,principal, voice,photo double, and has written scripts, and currently is in the development stage of a Feature Film of his own.
