DAZZLING MEADOW - DAY A clear, cobalt-blue sky stretches endlessly. The air itself sparkles brilliantly like morning dew, revealing the perfect clarity of the beginning of creation. The chirping of birds from somewhere and the rustling of a gentle breeze form a perfect symphony. EXT. MEADOW - DAY A vast meadow in full bloom with colorful wildflowers. A massive male lion, its golden mane flowing, grazes on the grass. A white lamb approaches and buries its head deep into the lion's mane. The lion gently embraces the lamb with its large, plush paws, its sharp claws completely hidden. In the background, a leopard and a goat lie side by side, enjoying a nap. EXT. FIELD - DAY Amidst the wildflowers, NOAH (3) runs forward, giggling brightly. Over his white linen clothes, a unique white pebble necklace with a hole in it jingles and bounces. Noah is chasing a thick brown snake. The snake slithers into a dark hole under a bush, hiding itself. Noah squats in front of the hole. Without hesitation, he shoves his small hand deep into the dark hole. EXT. FIELD - CONTINUOUS (CLOSE UP) Noah pulls his small hand out of the dark hole. A thick snake slithers out through his fingers. The snake gently wraps around Noah's chubby wrist, gliding upward. Its forked tongue flicks, lightly tickling the child's skin. Noah bursts into bright laughter looking at the snake coiled around his wrist. The white pebble necklace around the child's neck catches the sunlight and gleams. Noah's laughter echoes far across the peaceful field. EXT. MILLENNIAL KINGDOM CITY - DAY Beyond the field where Noah plays, a futuristic city of miraculous scale sprawls endlessly. Organically curved buildings, sculpted like works of art, breathe in perfect unison with massive gardens, crystal-clear lakes, and silvery waterfalls. A breathtaking panoramic view of the Millennial Kingdom, where civilization and nature achieve perfect harmony. EXT. CENTRAL PLAZA - DAY A massive crowd of citizens fills the vast plaza. Children, couples, people of diverse nations. Every single one wears a bright, peaceful smile free of worry. Their lively laughter echoes like a pleasant harmony. Atop a high platform in the center of the plaza stands CHARLIE (late 30s in appearance), wearing a white linen robe with a purple sash. He exudes a dignified and gentle presence. The crowd looks up at Charlie with eyes of respect. However, Charlie's expression slowly hardens. A deep concern shadows his once-warm face. Sensing his serious demeanor, the laughter in the plaza subsides like a receding wave. A heavy silence falls.                          CHARLIE               (In a low but majestic voice)         Beloved citizens of the Millennial Kingdom. The crowd exchanges puzzled glances. A strange tension lingers in the plaza. Charlie continues firmly.                          CHARLIE (CONT'D)         You do not know starvation.         You have never experienced physical agony, nor the fear of death.         I fear... that this perfect peace leaves you defenseless against the danger to come. Charlie lifts his head and gazes into the cloudless sky.                          CHARLIE (CONT'D)         Satan's deception approaches when we are most at peace,         in its sweetest form.         Remember. This thousand years of peace... was built upon the blood of those who endured the tribulation. EXT. CENTRAL PLAZA / DAIS - DAY (CLOSE UP) As if the horrific visions of the past are playing right before his eyes, Charlie's voice trembles slightly.                          CHARLIE (CONT'D)         Giant hailstones pouring down from the sky,         the screams of tens of millions being swallowed by earthquakes.         The sea turned red with blood...         I was in the very center of that hell. Painful memories well up in Charlie's tear-filled eyes. [AUDIO: As Charlie's gaze deepens, the silence of the plaza is broken by the faint, encroaching sound of chaotic New York city noise and an intense beat.] SMASH CUT TO: (Transition to pre-tribulation New York scene) INT. UPSCALE ROOFTOP BAR - NIGHT Manhattan flashes with bright neon signs and billboards. An upscale rooftop bar overlooking the faint silhouette of the Statue of Liberty. CHARLIE (early 40s), 1,000 years ago. His dignified presence from the platform is completely gone. Dressed in a sharp, high-end suit. He holds a crystal whiskey glass in one hand and a smartphone in the other, smirking arrogantly. His old friend NICK (early 40s) claps Charlie on the shoulder, laughing loudly.                          CHARLIE               (Shouting in excitement)         Jackpot. Doubled in a month! Charlie shoves his smartphone's stock ticker screen in front of Nick's eyes. The screen is filled with green upward arrows.                          NICK               (Eyes widening)         This is insane, Charlie! The coin you picked is skyrocketing too!                            CHARLIE         Cashing out the stocks, going all in on crypto right now. My gut was perfectly right.                            NICK         I'm following right behind you. You seriously have the Midas touch!                            CHARLIE               (An arrogant smile, slightly flushed from alcohol)         Drinks are on me tonight. Let's go all out! The two men briskly clink their whiskey glasses. The flashing neon lights vividly illuminate Charlie's flushed face. INT. PENTHOUSE DINING ROOM (CHARLIE'S HOME) - MORNING Dazzling Manhattan morning sunlight pours in through the floor-to-ceiling windows. On the large, modern dining table is a high-end breakfast spread, neatly arranged like a magazine cover. Neatly dressed wife SUZIE (late 30s) is organizing the table. Two daughters, ESTHER (8) and SARAH (5), sit side by side eating sandwiches. Charlie, with messy hair and wearing a silk robe, stumbles in. He intensely furrows his brow, wincing at the pouring morning sunlight. Charlie drags his heavy body and slumps into a dining chair.                          SUZIE               (Sliding a coffee cup toward him)         You don't look so good. Overdid it again last night?         Want a glass of ice water?                            CHARLIE               (Dry washing his face)         No, I'm fine. Coffee is enough. Charlie grips the coffee cup with trembling hands and urgently gulps it down. Esther puts down her sandwich and quietly stares at Charlie. There is a rather deep concern in her eyes for an 8-year-old.                          ESTHER         Dad, I love you. Charlie forces the corners of his mouth up, giving a tired smile.                          CHARLIE         I love my Esther too. And Sarah. Just then, 5-year-old Sarah, with milk smeared around her mouth, tilts her head with an innocent expression.                          SARAH         I love you too, Dad.         But Dad... what does alcohol taste like? Is it yummy? Instantly, the air in the dining room freezes. Suzie stops wiping the table. Charlie halts his movement halfway to bringing the coffee cup to his lips.                          CHARLIE               (Clearing his throat awkwardly)         Uh...? Well... not really.

Co-/Associate Producers for "That Jones Boy!

Seeking producers in New York City, New York

"That Jones Boy! Or, the Adventures of a Bastard" is a Musical Comedy of Manners adapted from Henry Fielding's classic novel, "Tom Jones." Both unabashedly romantic and a bawdy satirical romp, the play views late 18th century theatrical conventions through an early 21st century lens. At each performance, a limited number of audience members will be invited to attend in period costume, paying reduced ticket prices for the privilege. The plot follows our footloose and fancy-free hero from his birth and childhood (in the prologue) through his years as a young adult, through lusty entanglements with various women. fights, duels, songs, dances, and a narrow escape from the gallows where he is about to be hanged for a crime he did not commit. At long last he is restored to the arms of his one true love, and the other principal characters are properly paired as the curtain falls.  Running time: 2 hours 40 minutes, excluding intermission. The play requires a large cast of 39 actor-singer-dancers, all of whom perform multiple roles under the Actors' Equity Favored Nations Agreement The "painterly" scenery represents multiple, cinematically rapidly changing locales. Period costumes may be described as a "designer's wet dream." Orchestra: minimum 24 players per requirements of Local 802, parity with cast.  We are planning developmental readings and a workshop for early summer, 2026. A director, choreographer and stage manager are already in place, at least for the early phases of the process. Feature Film Screenwriter Needed (Psychologic

Seeking screenwriters in London, England

I’m looking for an experienced screenwriter to help rework and elevate an existing feature-length screenplay in the psychological drama genre. The story centers on Alex, a psychiatrist/therapist who has been an absentee father and husband while struggling with personal and professional failures. This project is a rewrite of an existing script, with the goal of deepening the emotional impact, strengthening character development, and increasing overall dramatic tension while preserving the core narrative. I already have a clear vision for this rewriting pass, including detailed notes on how the story needs to evolve, as well as specific new moments and plot beats I’d like to incorporate. Scope of Work: Refine and enhance dialogue to feel natural and emotionally grounded Integrate deeper character development into actions, decisions, and voice Increase conflict and dramatic stakes where appropriate Streamline the script by reducing unnecessary stage directions Execute planned revisions while elevating the overall story What I’m Looking For: Proven experience in feature-length screenwriting (preferably drama/psychological drama) Strong understanding of character-driven storytelling Ability to collaborate and bring creative input while respecting an existing vision Good communication and openness to feedback

Screenwriter — Future Vision XPRIZE

Seeking screenwriters in Vancouver, Canada, New York City, New York, Los Angeles, California and 2 more

SCREENWRITER  Future Vision XPRIZE  ·  Remote $10,000–$15,000 CAD flat fee + 5% profit share  ·  May 20, 2026 deadline THE OPPORTUNITY This is not a typical screenwriting gig. We are entering the Future Vision XPRIZE — a $2.5M film competition presented by Google and Peter Diamandis. The brief: create a 3-minute film that shows humanity a hopeful, technology-forward vision of the future. If selected as a Top 10 Finalist, Google and Range come in as producing partners on the feature film. We have a fully realized world. A story with genuine philosophical depth. A director of AI cinematics. A producer with capital committed and the clock running. What we need is the writer who makes it sing. THE PROJECT Enlightened Earth is a philosophical sci-fi film set in 2100 — a world where technology serves the soul, nature is a co-creator, and humanity has chosen a different way of being. We open in 2100 — a world so fully realized it aches. Then we fall back to 2035, when everything was still at stake. The story centers on the collision of two timelines: a coherence zone that has achieved genuine post-fear living, and the forces of the old world that come to destroy it. It is Gandhian truth force meets science fiction. The antagonists become the protagonists. The darkness is not defeated — it is healed. Think Avatar’s reverence for nature. The Matrix’s philosophical ambition. Interstellar’s emotional devastation. But with a fundamentally different worldview — one that refuses the dualism of good versus evil, and insists instead on the more radical truth: that separation is a wound, and wounds can be healed. The world-building is extensive — thousands of words of lore, philosophy, technology, governance, and economics. The story brief is locked. What we need is a writer who can take this skeleton and breathe life into it. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR This is a specific kind of writer. Not the most commercially obvious. The most alive. YOU ARE: A true artist first. Craft is non-negotiable. You know how to bring an audience to the edge of their seat and make them cry on command. You have feature film credits that prove it.On the path of genuine inquiry — spiritually curious without spiritual ego. You’ve sat with eastern philosophy, with questions of consciousness and oneness, and you carry those questions into your work without preaching.Deeply disillusioned by the pessimism of mainstream science fiction. You love the genre. And you’re tired of it. Tired of dystopia as default. Tired of technology as villain. Tired of stories that can imagine the end of the world but not a world worth living in.Obsessed with the question of what a genuinely good future looks like — technologically, ecologically, spiritually. You could talk about this for hours. You have talked about this for hours.Someone who wants to push the envelope of the genre. You understand non-dualism. You can write a villain whose transformation is more devastating than their destruction. You know that the most radical act in storytelling right now is to insist on wholeness.A collaborator who gives a damn. This project has a soul and we’re looking for someone who feels it. Chemistry matters. We want someone we’d genuinely enjoy being in a room with. YOU HAVE: At least one produced credit on a feature film, short film (festival circuit), or TV/streaming episode — OR significant placement in a major screenwriting competition (Nicholl, Austin, Sundance Lab, Black List, or equivalent)  — ideally in science fiction, drama, or genre-bending workA portfolio that shows range, depth, and the ability to write characters that feel genuinely humanThe ability to work to a hard deadline — August 15, 2026 is immovableComfort working remotely and collaborating closely with a small, fast-moving team THE DELIVERABLE A 12-page treatment for the XPRIZE submissionVoiceover script for the 3-minute cinematic trailerCreative collaboration on story development throughout production Full world-building documents, story brief, and visual references will be provided at project start. You are not starting from zero — you are taking something already alive and helping it reach its full potential. COMPENSATION Flat fee: $10,000–$15,000 CAD depending on experience5% net profit participation on direct proceeds from the XPRIZE submission, plus right of first negotiation to continue as screenwriter on the feature film if fundedGoogle and Range as producing partners on the feature if we reach the Top 10Credit on the XPRIZE submission and all subsequent development This is not a high-budget commission. It is a low-budget bet on something that could become significant. We are looking for a writer who understands the difference — and who wants to be part of something from the beginning. HOW TO APPLY Send us three things: A brief note — not a cover letter, a genuine human response — on why this project resonates with you specificallyTwo or three writing samples or produced credits that show us what you’re capable ofOne sentence on what you think the most important story humanity needs to hear right now is That last one matters most. Preference for Canadian writers. Open globally to the right person. “The stories we tell about the future are not predictions. They are invitations.”

Sound Department — Boom Operator & Sound Mixe

Seeking boom operators and sound mixers in Manchester, United Kingdom

Sound Department — Boom Operator & Sound Mixer Trespassers | Folk Horror Short Film | Manchester / Lancashire We're in pre-production on Trespassers — a 7-minute folk horror short film shooting over three days in April 2026 in Roddlesworth Woods, Lancashire. The film has a distinct visual identity (think Eggers, think ritual, think silence broken badly) and is being produced to a professional standard with full pre-production documentation, a structured shoot schedule, and a clear distribution plan. We're looking for: A Sound Mixer — responsible for location sound recording, kit management, and mix quality A Boom Operator — forest and stream environments, minimal dialogue, strong instinct for ambient texture The honest part: This is a deferred fee production. You won't be paid upfront. A deal memo will be in place from day one, setting out your agreed rate and the deferred payment terms clearly in writing. Your fee is tied to the film's distribution revenue — not a handshake promise. What's in it for you: Full screen credit (Sound Mixer / Boom Operator) on a film entering the international festival circuit A finished, festival-ready short for your reel — shot on anamorphic glass, graded to a professional folk horror aesthetic Distribution targets include ALTER, Omeleto, Horror Channel (AVOD/FAST), and UK short film platforms Professional production environment: call sheets, recce documentation, shot lists, and a director who won't waste your time on set Potential for follow-on collaboration — Trespassers is being developed as a proof-of-concept for a feature The shoot: Three days, 7–9 April 2026. Forest interior and stream locations within Roddlesworth Woods. Scenes are atmospheric, low-dialogue, movement-heavy — this is a sound design opportunity as much as a location recording job. To apply: Send a short message, a link to your reel or recent credits, and your day rate (for the deferred memo) to [contact email]. We're moving quickly — principal photography is confirmed for April. Trespassers is a serious production being made on lean terms, not a student film being made on borrowed kit. If that distinction matters to you, we'd like to hear from you.

FOR HIRE: PITCH DECK DESIGNER AVAILABLE!

Seeking directors, screenwriters and producers in Los Angeles, California, London, England, Atlanta, Georgia and 2 more

We specialize in creating killer pitch decks and eye-catching look books that stand out in today’s competitive entertainment landscape. Whether you’re pitching a feature film or a TV series, we’ve got you covered with professional designs that bring your vision to life! Your pitch deck will be ready to go in just 2 weeks. Time to make an impact! ⏰ Most indie filmmakers lose investors before page 3 of their pitch deck. For years, I’ve been helping creators create pitch decks that are visually dynamic and emotionally engaging investor presentations — the kind that actually get taken seriously. A few lessons I’ve learned designing for film & TV projects: • Clarity beats flash — investors want to understand your film fast. • Mood & tone matter — design is part of storytelling. • One solid visual deck can open doors that a script alone can’t. If you’re currently pitching or raising funds and want a pitch deck or a design refresh, email me back or check out https://oldhatdesigns.org/portfolio to see some examples.
