About the Role

As the Film Editor, you will play a critical role in shaping the narrative and visual tone of the series. Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Editing:

    • Assemble and edit footage into compelling sequences that align with the series' unique tone and narrative style.
    • Collaborate with the creative team to refine the visual storytelling, ensuring a polished, professional result.
  • Pitch Material Development:

    • Create teaser trailers, sizzle reels, and visual presentations to pitch the project to studios, streaming platforms, and stakeholders.
    • Integrate bold graphics, transitions, and effects to elevate the impact of promotional materials.
  • Story Development:

    • Shape the rhythm and pacing of the project to maximize emotional and dramatic impact.
    • Work closely with the team to ensure the edits align with the overall creative vision and themes.
  • Technical Precision:

    • Manage and organize all footage, ensuring a streamlined post-production process.
    • Ensure all materials are delivered in the appropriate formats for pitching and promotional purposes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience:

    • At least 3-5 years of experience as an editor in film, television, or digital media.
    • A strong portfolio demonstrating experience with high-concept or experimental projects.
  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
    • Advanced knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and visual effects integration.
    • Strong storytelling instincts and the ability to craft engaging narratives through editing.
  • Creative Vision:

    • A passion for bold, innovative storytelling and a strong understanding of audience trends.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a creative team while bringing fresh ideas to the table.
