Hi Diache, AI is on the news every night. All across Ukraine, "artificially intelligent" military drones that the U.S., Russia, or Iran created have killed thousands of soldiers AND innocent civilians! There is no escape from this new type of monster! "Drone on Trial" is a small-cast (6 actors, 2 extras) micro-budget Sci-Fi thriller film confined to one "international courtroom" (anywhere in the world), pitting a relentless Ukrainian widow (28) and her smart black attorney and love interest (28) against the unjust artificial intelligence of the Drone (with a monstrous voice). Eight actors, one drone, on one afternoon, in one courtroom, and some EFX (the killer drone). The female lead and anti-modern-warfare messages are timeless, but in this case, the antagonist (drone) forces itself to explode to teach humans a lesson about romance and war.

Logline:
When a beautiful Ukrainian widow brings charges of murder against a defense contractor's Drone operator and software engineer, the armed, monster-like Drone begins to take matters into its artificial intelligence controls.
