About George

I am a videomaker, with extensive education and training in 4 different countries.
In Wales (where I got my Bachelor's degree in Film & Video Production), in Hollywood, USA (where I got my Master's degree in Directing & Filmmaking), in my home country Greece and in Belgium. on all stages of practical film making; from the conception of an idea to preproduction and from filming to post production and delivery.

What I mostly enjoy about filmmaking is directing, camera operating, drawing storyboards writing, editing. However there are all kinds of relevant things I like on the side like experimenting with music (synthesizers), fashion, just being on a set as a production assistant and troubleshooting (cause a big part of videomaking is solving problems ;) ).
I have been told that I have a good sense of genre and 'seeing' details in my head when I write; I understand camera operating, movement, framing and that I can make a tight edit.

A big part of my studies in Hollywood was the subjects of film business, financing and film festival operations. I can be entrepreneurial when it comes to production but never wild about risk, always following the guidelines of the producers / creators / supervisors.
My teachers included:
WRITER Jack Paglen (Transcendence, Alien: Covenant, Roadside Picnic)
SCRIPT SUPERVISOR Randi Feldman (Mission Impossible 2, The Cell, American Pie 2)
PRODUCTION DESIGNER Thomas S. Hammock (You're Next, VHS 2, The Guest)
FILM BUSINESS LECTURER Jason E. Squire (United Artists, 20th Century-Fox)

Unique traits: Camera Operator, Production Assistant, Editor, Storyboard Artist, Script Coverage, Synthesizer Player, Actor
