I am a Toronto-based film editor with a penchant for short-form arthouse drama and genre-blending storytelling. As I’m moving towards long-form, I’m happy to take detours in factual and non-scripted content.
During my film studies academic journey I focused on the 1960s and 1970s, from the Italian masters of dark comedy to the New Hollywood generation.
I became fond of filmmakers who envisioned tools and styles ahead of their time and shaped contemporary cinema. As an all-around filmmaker who has decided to funnel everything into editing, I have produced, written, and directed, too. Thus I am always interested in working on exciting projects in film, digital media, and creative initiatives beyond.
With 15 years in film/media production across two continents, I am experienced in multiple creative, technical, and management roles. I have run my own video production studio and I am used to working in teams, having held many different positions inside them.
I have a comprehensive home studio set up, but I also am mobile and flexible when it comes to contracts and work hours. I am drawn to the energy of doing on-set work.
I am fluent in various software and workflows, and I do my best to stay caught up with the always evolving technology. I'm comfortable with (but not limited to) the whole Adobe suite (including Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop), Avid Media Composer, Apple Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Resolve.
My diverse skill set is suitable for Media/Video production (complete creative and technical workflow, including camera + editing) and Film/TV post (editor, assistant editor, online editor, dailies, DMT) .

Producer, Director, Writer, Editor The Wakefield Variation follows the apparently simple plot of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s Wakefield and sets it in the present time: someday a young man decides to leave the girlfriend he lived with and goes missing. Wakefield has been hiding in a small apartment for years. He didn’t leave any traces behind and keeps spying on his former girlfriend using bugs and hidden cameras, in a sort of twisted social experiment. Time goes by, in a flow of memories, thoughts, and loneliness. When the girl – who has long moved on – is about to take a step which would put her out of range for good, Wakefield starts thinking about getting back into her life.
