Jackson Kelly

I am a Postgrad student at Raindance London (although I live in Manchester and am studying the course online), taking the screenwriting route and am about to embark on writing my first short film.

I will be beginning a feature in January (this is the structure of the course so not just wishful thinking and will include plenty of outlining, as well as mentoring from industry professionals). I am mainly interested in suspense thrillers but am also interested in drama, as well as being open to other genres (I like to have a narrow focus in terms of marketing myself industry but I believe that creatively speaking, you have to have an open mind in all artistic endeavours.

I am looking to meet fellow writers, and also producers and directors who are in the early stages of their careers, preferably with an interest in suspense thrillers- it doesn't hurt if you're a Hitchcock fan :)

I'm mainly looking for filmmakers in the North of England, London, Toronto, Vancouver, and Los Angeles. But the internet makes collaboration so much easier so am open to the right potential collaborators, no matter where you are based.
