Jamel (pronounced like JaRule, except it's Mel) received his MFA in Film and Media Arts from Temple University, and has worked for WTXF FOX 29 News for 12 years as a Video Editor and Producer. Jamel completed work on his thesis film, "Blind Date" and his short film "Groundhogs".

Exploring issues of personal and collective memory, the film uses never before seen 16mm footage documenting the artistic explorations Romberg conducted with his students in one of the most revolutionary universities in Argentina at the onset of the 'Dirty War' and his accounts of the events almost forty years later.
