About Jason
I'm particularly passionate about films with emotional and dramatic undertones for a mix of synth and a small ensemble of live instruments through to orchestral scores - i have been likened to in particular Dimitri Tiomkin, Ramin Djawani, James Horner, Thomas Newman, and Alan Silvestri in the way I structure my compositions. I am based in the UK with a small studio in wiltshire and have worked with many directors in the uk and internationally with the help of internet communication/social networks. I am classically trained graduating from the Birmingham conservatoire and have skills in Orchestration, Copying, Arranging, Producing live work although many projects I've worked on haven't the budget for live recordings so most of my portfolio is created using orchestral samples like Vienna Instrumens, Berlin Instruments, East-West, Symphobia etc.
