Born and raised in Texas, I learned film making by working on various independent film sets and completing internships with Richard Linklater, Los Angeles producer David Foster, and director Kat Candler. I've worked on small student films to bigger budget feature films, including "Manglehorn" starring Al Pacino, "7 Chinese Brothers" starring Jason Schwartzman, "Slacker 2011," and PBS documentaries "Sunshine" & "Where Soldiers Come From." In 2014, my feature length screenplay advanced to the semifinals of the Big Break Screenwriting Contest. This summer, (2018) I completed my first feature length film, a documentary entitled "Remember My Soul," that I shot entirely in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.
