About the job
UK-based Producer for a dramedy short that will be used as a proof-of-concept to find funding for a feature.
Logline: A spoiled Indian-American tech heiress ignoring her family to party, fails a sobriety test in stilettos and faces jail time.
It is anticipated that the Producer will work in collaboration with the Director as co-producer, but will take the lead on finding funding and coordinating key production crew.
About this film:
- To be shot in Arizona, USA
- All post-production will occur in the UK
- Any pre-production roles that can be done remotely (i.e. Casting, Line Producing), will also be done in the UK
- Budget: < £30K
- Pitch Deck available on request by serious applicants who meet the criteria
- Looking for UK funding sources such as BFI and other grants available. Alternate countries may be soured for funding, and the locations of remote work will be adapted to that country. Crowdfunding only to be used if other sources are unavailable.
