About John

San Francisco native, John Christopher began shooting films at the age of 10, when state of the art was a windup 8mm movie camera his parents gave him. Throughout the years, he has studied filmmaking, video production and acting at various schools in the Bay-Area.

Recently, John produced a short film with the SF-based film co-op Scary Cow Productions, winning an audience choice award. His documentary film "Ninety" was selected for screening at The Petaluma Film Festival.

He is currently working on a short film entitled "Drum.. Solo" about a drummer who experiences a series of girl troubles, due to his habit of relentless drumming and tapping at the most inappropriate times and places. He finds himself 'possessed' by music and rhythm, which put him into various funny predicaments.
