John Delfino designs lighting for theatre, movement, architecture, museums, and themed entertainment. He strives to instill storytelling throughout his work, creating a sense of place and wonder in design. No matter the size or type of project, story can - and should - be told.
At Available Light, John designs lighting for museum exhibits and architecture out of the New York City office. Previously he worked with Visual Terrain, a lighting design firm specializing in Themed Entertainment.
Originally from New York, John received his MFA from CalArts in Lighting Design. He did his undergraduate education at Boston College, with a BA in English (Creative Writing) and Theatre Studies.
