Jonathan Bowens is a filmmaker from South Florida, USA. He is a producer and director, known for his unique short films such as Phrenology, The Last Soul Brother, and Magi. He is a graduate of Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida where he earned a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Film Production.

As a jack-of-all-trades, Jonathan has worn many hats during a film's production. He has worked as a producer, director, cinematographer and camera operator as well as a grip and electrician.

Bowens has also worked as a 1st Assistant Director on a number of Full Sail University productions including the master's thesis film Seeping Between The Cracks and the hilarious web series No Good Deeds.
