About Kaci

KACI M. FANNIN is a professional actress, director and independent producer hailing from the University of Texas @ Austin film school with a BA in Radio-Television-Film. After her education there, she spent the following 15+ years building successful performance and filmmaking careers while based in Los Angeles and New York, respectively. Kaci spent the last 10 years building a strong stage and film directing resume as well. Kaci recently completed graduate school (December 2023) obtaining a MFA in Social & Environmental Arts Practices and a MA in Social Justice and Community Organizing.

Ms. Fannin has worked on several studio films and more than a dozen independents as both talent and crew. She has most recently served as Producer on the documentary DRAMA MAMAS! THE FILM and as Consulting Producer for the independent feature, DREAMS AT THE END OF A ROPE, which is currently in distribution.

Throughout her performance career, Kaci has had the good fortune to work with and be trained by industry leaders such as directors Duane Clark, Peter Werner and Paul Hunter; casting director Linda Phillips-Palo (Virgin Suicides, The Rainmaker); and Broadway veterans Susan Stroman (director/choreographer The Producers, Scottsboro Boys) and John Kander (of the legendary songwriting team Ebb & Kander of Cabaret and Chicago), to name only a few.

Prior to her work in entertainment, Ms. Fannin had a thriving Sales, Marketing and Public Relations career. Kaci worked with several Fortune 500 companies and in industries ranging from tax deferred annuities to upscale hospitality/4-star hotels. She also has extensive experience in the non-profit sector in arts/media management, grant writing and arts administration. Kaci consistently exceeded sales and fundraising quotas while working in the corporate arena and has successfully authored grants for various non-profits.

Ms. Fannin is Founding Producer at BanjiGirl Productions, a collective committed to discovering, developing and producing new and under-represented voices/visions in independent film, theatre and new media.
