KateLynn E. Newberry

KateLynn was born and raised in Buffalo NY, and has always had a passion for the arts. When she turned 18 she started modeling for several local photographers. Her love of being in front of the camera didn't stop there.

When KateLynn turned 20 she started recording with Jeffrey Nothing and Ryan Farrell, lead singer and bassist of nationally touring band, Mushroomhead. KateLynn appeared in Jeff Nothing's music video, "Enough."

Later, she became the voice of Unite This City, a marketing company based in Cleveland, Ohio. KateLynn has been seen in numerous local magazines, and has walked in fashion shows in Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Buffalo. She's now making appearances in the independent film world. Look for her in films such as "Virgin Forest" and "Banger".

She frequently studies with directior/producer JW Myers, as well as actress Pamela Daly.

"de la Oscuridad" takes place in Cleaveland, Ohio. It is a city that needs saving. The Government moves in with the FORCE (Federal Officers Resisting Criminal Elements) to protect the residents. The story is seen through the eyes of a young Latina police officer who becomes part of the FORCE because she saved a number of police from a massacre. The story is not all black and white, as the Latina police officer/government agent deals with her questionably ethical supervisors, an urban legend about a shadow devouring criminals and a Senator who has come to town to shut the FORCE down after a shooting incident.
