About Kyle

I am a costume designer, supervisor and assistant with a passion for telling stories through clothing. I love to create characters through how they present themselves and work collaboratively to express the story through costume. Much of my experience has been in theatre but I have a strong interest in film and TV and having had a small amount of experience on a short film and a TV commercial I would love to get more involved in these worlds. With my training in Drama as a wdier subject I am always aware of the bigger picture and where my work fits in. I am always keen to learn and would love to be a part of telling stories that connect with the rest of the world.

Cafepod - Craft Your Day (2020)
Commercial by Nine Yard Films / Vanessa Bailey Costume Stylist This was working on my first TV commercial for Café Pod. This was creating three distinct looks for their first advert that aired on ITV for 7 weeks and on social media for 4 months.
Small Talk (2020)
Film (short) by Nine Yard Films / Vanessa Bailey Costume Stylist This was working on Nine Yard Films' short film "Small Talk", putting together moodboards and co-ordinating the costume looks for the two lead characters and three extras. This included COVID-19 on set safety training.
Treasure Island (2019 - 2020)
Theater by Rose Youth Theatre / Holly Reddaway, Nicole Burley and Anthony Hoskyns Costume Designer Working with the Rose Youth Theatre on their production of Treasure Island, designing and sourcing 18th C costumes for over 100 young people
Beauty and the Beast (2019)
Theater by Hazlitt Theatre / Martin Cleverly Wardrobe Manager Being in charge of maintenance and organisation of costumes in preparation and during the pantomime at the Hazlitt Theatre, Beauty and the Beast. As well as, acting as a dresser during the run of the show.

The Seven Ages of Patience (2019)
Theater by Kiln Theatre / Katie Posner Costume Supervisor This was working with a cast of just over 80 members of the community aged between 10-70+ with a show that spanned from 1945-2019, looking at a variety of time periods and communities, alongside designer, Lily Arnold.
Our Town (2019)
Theater by Rose Theatre Kingston / Lucy Morrell Costume Designer Working with a cast of 30 members of the community, designing and sourcing costumes for Our Town. The concept for this was everything looking like a sepia tone photograph with a vibrant colourful scene at the end which was an exciting challenge.
Black Beauty (2019)
Theater by Rose Youth Theatre / Lucy Morrell, Anthony Hoskyns and Ciara Morris Costume Designer This was working on the Rose Youth Theatre's production of Black Beauty, which required me to design and make horse heads, as well as design and source a variety of other costumes to be shared between three groups of 30 young people in each.

Theater by Battersea Arts Centre / Lekan Lawal Costume Buyer Assisting designer Sadeysa Greenway-Bailey in sourcing, buying and compiling costumes in preparation for Lekan Lawal's production in association with Battersea Arts Centre's Up Next event "Superblackman"
Forgotten (2018)
by Moongate Productions and Yellow Earth Theatre / Kim Pearce Costume Supervisor Sourcing, organising, distressing and altering costumes in preparation for Moongate and Yellow Earth's collaboration, staging Daniel York Loh's "Forgotten" firstly at the Theatre Royal Plymouth and then moving to the Arcola Theatre. I was also in charge of the costume budget.
Bullish (UK Tour) (2018)
Theater by Milk Presents / L.J. Skilbeck Costume Assistant Assisting designer Emma Bailey as MilkPresents prepared for the revival of their 2017 hit "Bullish" as it embarked on it's UK Tour.

Mapping Brent Festival 2018 (2018)
Theater by Kiln Theatre / Various Costume Supervisor I worked across 6 shows as part of Kiln Theatre's (née Tricycle Theatre) Mapping Brent Festival 2018, buying costumes and managing the costumes for each of the 6 shows that were in the festival. It involved working closely with the three designers, Sadeysa Greenway-Bailey, Emma Bailey and Alex Berry, as well as managing the costume budgets across the shows.
Peter Pan (2017)
Theater by Vexx Pantomimes / Danny Wright Costume Maker Working with Vexx on their first pantomime, Peter Pan, at the Maidstone Studios as a costume maker and assistant to designer, Clare Wright.
Phoenix Rising (2017)
Theater by Big House Theatre / Maggie Norris Costume Supervisor I worked with costume and set designer Emma Bailey again, alongside The Big House Theatre Company on their project Phoenix Rising as their costume supervisor. This meant working closely with the designer to help make her ideas a reality for the show. I was responsible for ensuring the costumes kept within the budget and also to keep a detailed note of the actors measurements and the elements of their costumes. I was also responsible for buying and sourcing the items required.
