About Lawrence

My name is Lawrence Joshua Jr. I'm originally from Louisiana. I graduated from Franklin Sr. High school, in Louisiana, then I joined the U.S. Army. After getting out of the army I moved to Southern California, and embarked on an acting career. I've appeared in several films, Tour Of Duty, Show Down N Lil Tokyo, !st & 10 just to name a few. After my acting career I went to the Los Angeles Film School, and enrolled in the filmmaking course, but due to financial obligations I didn't finish. Later I enrolled in the directing course at Rio Hondo College, excelling in the Camera operator, directing & producing class completing the course with a 4.0 gps. Later I attended the Hollywood Film Institute w/Dov Simens. I've taken screenwriting classes at the Screenwriters University, an online course for writers. My novel For What It's Worth is due to be published in September. I've also directed, written, and produced music, and comedy showcases, ONE LOVE, HIP HOP COMEDY JAM, etc. The videos will soon appear on my website, . The site is under construction . I'm currently a student at the University of Phoenix, thanks to my military Chapter 31 program.
