Lizzy Bean

Lizzy is a full-time creative; entrepreneur, producer, and actor. Co-Director of DabCo Productions. Having worked professionally across a broad spectrum of industries from technology education to graphic design to theater administration, Lizzy has been the face of and principal designer for Stitch People for the last ten years, building an international crafting community of over half a million followers with her business and life partner, Spencer Bean, with whom she also runs The Waterford Puzzle Company.

The wide variety of professional experiences Lizzy has enjoyed create the perfect foundation for her producorial pursuits which include the following: multiple in-person and online classes and events (in partnership with Micahels Crafts and DMC), The Stitch People Podcast (available on all major platforms), comedy series pilot “Dig Dirt” (writer, director, producer), unscripted TV series concept “Handmade,” a full-cast recording of “A Christmas Carol” (released as a podcast), horror short “Night Moves,” dramatic short “Violet & Mary,” and most notably, the award-winning feature film “Re-Opening."
