About Liane

Creative, spunky writer with consulting, high tech, and education background. My diverse background, experience, and relationships lend to my ability to develop witty, progressive stories and scripts. I love to dance, was an Arthur Murray Ballroom Dance Instructor, Professional Dancer (no, not a stripper) and competed in dance competitions around NYC, which helped pay bills while I was attending college.

I am a huge Geek; my sister refers to me as the Tech Nerd of the family, which puts a lot of pressure on me being the only tech savvy person in the family. Everyone asks me to fix their computers, which was something I had done many, many years ago and have moved on to greater tech endeavors. My family has no idea what I do for a living and I don't even try to explain it to them since they are all crazy, which is where I acquire much of my comedy material. While I thoroughly enjoy writing comedy and laughing, I do have a dark side. If it weren't for my parents guilting me into being good and honest, I would have been a very successful criminal, sneaking into backdoors (systems) without a trace, leaving a hefty payload - very damaging to whoever had the pleasure of receiving it, and going about my business with no one knowing. My neighbors and family would think of me as that sweet, hardworking person... So, while I remain that sweet, hardworking person, I'm taking my warped thoughts and applying them to eerie, psychologically damaging suspense thrillers and horrors. I want to make a movie that is so disturbing that the audience would need to schedule therapy for their unborn children. On the other side, I want to create movies and/or sitcoms that are intensely funny that the audience laugh so hard their intestines fly out of their mouths.

I enjoy working and collaborating with likeminded individuals and have been writing my thoughts down, which keep me up throughout the night - scary going between laughing and horror - somewhat disturbing. Anyway, if you have read this far and haven't fallen asleep or left this page and are interested in developing these genres that are incredible, memorable, and make a compelling impression, please reach out to me. I really want to get these thoughts off of my mind, so I could get a decent night's sleep.

Unique traits: Vivid imagination - taking reality, augmenting potential inconceivable actions into scary and funny plots.
