Lonny Ray is an award winning singer/songwriter from the Great State of Michigan. Growing up in a middle class family, Lonny Ray spent many hours on the family piano before he picked up his guitar at age 14. His prolific songwriting has been honed over the years through life experiences. His creations have landed on the Showtime Series Dexter as well as We-TV's Texas Multi Mamas, A&E Combat Pawn, NFL Network Mean Joe Greene Story and many other television shows. He landed a placement with the help of APM Los Angeles for the Jim Wilson movie 50 to 1 starring William Duvane, Christian Kane and Skeet Ulrich in 2014. He has been nominated several times for the Detroit Music Awards for Best Country Songwriter and won the 25th Anniversary of Review Magazine for his writing skills. His first solo CD, which is available on all the major internet outlets, was released in 2008. He has since gone on to release several singles to the world. He is actively seeking placements on film and television as well as cuts from Nashville Recording artists with his company Copper 1 Music.
