About Loredan

Born in Lipova, Romania on August 14, 1984 as Loredan Ovidiu Stoica. At the age of 6, I was adopted and moved to Chicago, Illinois where I continue to live today. Graduated from Northeastern University with a B.A. in Psychology and married to Christine Maiko Terazawa since May 2, 2015.

My passion for the performing arts began when I was 14 years old when I saw a main stage performance at Second City. I immediately signed up for classes to begin my training. I studied at Second City and Improv Olympic from 2000 – 2010 but about 5 years into my training, it was recommended that I take some acting classes to improve my voice. That was the start of my obsession with the art of acting. My biggest inspirations are the teachings of Constantin Stanislavski, Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler and Uta Hagen. A love of opera has also been crucial to my understanding of the voice and vocal technique. My goal is to bring back the art of acting, which I spent the last 5 years teaching. After 15 years of training, it is now time for me to put my skill set to work in the acting industry.

Chekhov's Gun (2016)

Otherwise don't put it there' This is the story based on a theory of Anton Chekhov, the Russian Novelist - It's not a biographical movie. He insisted that if a gun is shown in chapter 1, the gun should be fired in chapter 3. The film is a narrative way of showing his theory, and it starts from where a man finds a gun to the end where he shoots the gun. This 15-20 min short film is the quote. The main character, Chekhov, gets thrown into the quote to shoot the gun in the following chapter. All the other characters work as props to make him shoot the gun.
