Acting : Travel security and payment for crew and actors. by Andre Hunt

Just like in the real world, if someone is offered a job in a city that requires them to leave their own ypen for an extended period of time, contracts are drawn up to guarantee employment, or travel expenses, owing to the insecurities of moving to a new location and/or giving up a job, etc. One of my actors is telling me he has an acting job in San Francisco offered to him. Should he have a contract written up that gives him some security?
