Anything Goes : Frader-Day by Paul Molnar

Frader-Day

As I sit here on a Friday, transitioning into Saturday,

(Friday + Saturday = Frader-day).

I find myself reflecting on the implications of our upcoming shot weekend and the reality of what we refer to as a another.

"Frader-day." which begins late on Friday and extends into Saturday morning, often leaves us fatigued and disrupts our weekends.

The heavy snowfall outside only heightens my dissatisfaction. I am genuinely interested in the viewpoints of my fellow crew members, industry professionals, and even producers regarding the fairness of working on these Frader-days.

Should we not reconsider the practice of working on Fridays? It seems almost unreasonable to expect us to sacrifice our family time and personal lives for the sake of our employment. While working in this industry is indeed a privilege, it should not come at the expense of our well-being. I wonder how others perceive this situation.
